I strive to be an honest, friendly, reliable, hardworking, and motivated person. I truly believe in the concept of lifelong learning and it is my intention to constantly learn about how to effectively communicate with people. One of the key areas of my interest is on the topic of the emotional intelligence – how people manage their emotions given certain circumstances.

I was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia in 1985.
Since the early childhood, I had a dream to become a tennis player and come play college tennis in the US. This way, I would also get great education and tennis would pay for it.
My dream came true in August, 2004 when I first arrived at Reno.
My journey has been great – I received an amazing degree in Supply Chain Management and I am now currently in the MBA program at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR).

I believe that great education I received at UNR helped a lot in getting hired for two of my current jobs.
1. Since May 2009, I’ve been working as a Graduate Assistant at the Nevada Small Business Development Center, where I work with clients on their business plans and financial statements to make sure the business is on the right track. We also provide counseling on the importance of using social media tools for any type of business.
2. Since the summer of 2007, I have been working at Amazon.com. I first got a 6-month internship after which I was hired full time into Finance as a Business Analyst. In a nutshell, I support our operations with providing all the relevant financial reports necessary to make good business decisions. I am involved in staffing forecasts, planning and budgeting, closing the books, and other financial analysis.
